CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT

ASEP Releases Guidelines Governing Individual Participation in ASEP-Supported Capacity Development Initiatives

The ASEP Secretariat has recently released the guidelines for ASEP support to demand-driven capacity development programs/courses that agencies in the energy family shall have identified as crucial to the effective performance of their roles in promoting rural electrification and energy efficiency.

These guidelines define the processes for the identification of the relevant learning event, either local or foreign, the nomination/selection of participant/s to such learning events and the approval as well as the arrangements for registration/participation therein.

Interested officers and staff of the Department of Energy, Energy Regulatory Commission, National Electrification Administration and the National Power Corporation particularly those who are involved in rural electrification (particularly RE) and energy efficiency are advised to consult with their respective  HR offices for details.
